“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” is a classic family-friendly musical that tells the story of a magical car and the adventures of a family who owns it. “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” tells the story of the eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts and his two children, Jeremy and Jemima. When they discover a broken-down old car at a local junkyard, they manage to fix it up and bring it back to life. Little do they know, the car has a mind of its own and can fly! They name the car Chitty Chitty Bang Bang after the sounds it makes and soon find themselves on an incredible adventure to save their grandpa from the evil Baron and Baroness Bomburst.

Audition Information

Auditions for “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” will be held on Jan 2, 2024, at the Community Theatre of Clay County. We are looking for actors who can sing, dance, and bring their own unique flair to the roles. Please come prepared with a 16-32 bars of a song and be prepared to read from the script. We are looking for auditioners to show of their skills and creativity!
