If you’re an aspiring actor, now’s your chance to shine! Auditions for “On Golden Pond” will be held on June 1, 2023, at 6:30pm, at the theatre. The cast of characters includes Norman Thayer, his wife Ethel, their daughter Chelsea, and her fiancé Bill Ray. Lisa Watler Marse is looking for talented performers who can bring these complex characters to life with authenticity and passion.

The Thayer Family

Norman Thayer is a retired professor and curmudgeon who’s grappling with the inevitability of aging. He’s an intelligent man who’s not afraid to speak his mind, but often uses humor as a defense mechanism. Ethel Thayer is Norman’s vivacious and caring wife who’s always looking for ways to connect with her family and the natural world. Chelsea is the Thayer’s daughter, a successful businesswoman who’s often at odds with her father. Bill Ray is Chelsea’s fiancé, an eager-to-please dentist who wants nothing more than to be accepted by the Thayers.
